Charles G. Irion (born July 10, 1951 Ontario, California) is an American entrepreneur, publisher, author, philanthropist and adventurer. Charles G. Irion is a businessman in commercial property development and real estate since the 1970s. Founder of U.S. Park Investments, Irion is an owner and broker of mobile home and RV communities in the United States. He is the author and publisher of 13 books. The Summit Murder Mystery series, the Hell Series, and a cookbook Roadkill Cooking For Campers. He is also the founder of a children's dictionary charity, a founding member of Phoenix Social Venture Partners, Advisory Board Member as well as International Assessment Representative for Project C.U.R.E., and past president and current member of the Phoenix Lions Club. He has traveled to 60 countries. Irion participated in a 1987 expedition to Mount Everest from the China side, and in June 2011 climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in both Biology and Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Masters of Business Administration in International Marketing and Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management (The American Graduate School of International Management). ==Background== At the Uppsala University in Sweden, Irion participated in a work study program studying Swedish history with an emphasis on international trade impact on its national economy. He also studied the post WWII economic impact by international policies in Yugoslavia while at the Skopje University in Macedonia. In Costa Rica, he studied the culture earning an advanced studies certificate in Spanish and Costa Rican economics. In 1973, Irion received a B.A. in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Studies included an emphasis on microbiological applications to modern medicine practices and graduate classes on molecular theory. That same year, Irion earned a B.A. in Economics the University of California, Santa Barbara. Study emphasis was on micro and macro real estate theories both nationally and internationally. Irion was a member of several economic honor societies including Omicron Delta Epsilon Economics Honor Society. In 1975, Irion received a Masters of Business Administration (Marketing and Finance) from the American Graduate School of International Management in Arizona.
